Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of TumblerForge (the “Service”), operated by Maker Foundry (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account, and you’re responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or otherwise have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Subscriptions, billing, and free trial
TumblerForge is offered as a monthly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial; a valid payment method is required to start it, you aren’t charged during the trial, and the trial converts automatically to the plan you selected unless you cancel before it ends. The free trial is available once per customer.
Subscription fees are billed in advance (monthly or annually), in US dollars, exclusive of any applicable taxes. Prices may change; we’ll give you notice before a change affects your renewal. You can switch between monthly and annual billing from your account page — the difference is prorated. You can cancel anytime from your account page or by emailing tumblerforge@makerfoundryco.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we don’t pro-rate partial periods.
If you upgrade an active subscription to a Lifetime purchase, the unused portion of your current paid period is credited automatically at checkout and your subscription is ended so you’re never billed twice for the same access.
3. Refund policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first charge — first subscription payment or Lifetime purchase. If TumblerForge isn’t right for you, email tumblerforge@makerfoundryco.com within 30 days of that first charge and we’ll refund it in full. Subscription renewals are generally not refunded, but if something went wrong — a technical issue we couldn’t resolve, an accidental renewal — reach out and we’ll work out a fair resolution. Refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload or produce artwork that infringes someone else’s intellectual property;
- reverse-engineer, copy, or create derivative works of the Service;
- resell, sublicense, or share access to your account outside your household or business;
- use automation that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
- use the Service for anything illegal or harmful.
5. Your designs and our intellectual property
You keep all rights to the artwork and designs you create or upload. We claim no ownership of them and never share them — design editing and mockup rendering happen locally in your browser, and your artwork is not stored on our servers. The TumblerForge software, tumbler template data, site design, and documentation are the property of Maker Foundry; while your subscription or lifetime license is active you get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them through the Service.
6. Engraving results
TumblerForge produces design files and visual mockups. Real-world engraving results depend on your laser, settings, and the specific blank you use — factors outside our control. Templates and safe zones are guides, not guarantees; always test on scrap material or a spare blank first.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for breach of these Terms, fraud, or other good cause. On termination, your access to paid features ends.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including damaged blanks or lost production time.
11. Changes to these Terms
If we make material changes we’ll email you and post the update here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Maker Foundry is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
